Not happy with the performance of your employer 401(k) plan lately? Who is? What can you do about it? Well, you can take a close look at the investment choices your 401(k) plan offers and modify those allocation percentages. You can go to a very safe, low return investment like a money market fund. Or you can decide not to contribute any more (probably not a wise decision).
Watch this 4/19/09 60 Minutes episode that outlines some of the little known problems with the 401(k) industry (fees and mediocre money managers) and how it effects 401(k) plan participants.
