Objective commentary and ideas about the world of investing from various sources. Enjoy.
Peter Schiff - videos from 2006 - 2008
Peter Schiff is the President of Euro Pacific Capital, a broker/dealer recognized for its expertise in foreign markets and securities. Always controversial because of his "non-traditional" Wall Street views, he has been very much spot-on with his predictions about the economy the last few years.

Watch this YouTube clip as he takes on these so-called "Wall Street experts" (listen carefully to
their predictions about the economy in 2006-2008).
Jon Stewart - The Daily Show

Jon Stewart has an incredible knack for comically pointing out inconsistencies between what journalists and media members report and what the general public perceives as reality.

Watch this 3/13/09 clip of Stewart's interview with Jim Cramer of CNBC's popular investment TV show
Mad Money and you might develop a different opinion of the investment "advice" coming from some of Wall Street's popular financial gurus.

60 Minutes - The 401k Fallout; 4/19/09

Not happy with the performance of your employer 401(k) plan lately? Who is? What can you do about it? Well, you can take a close look at the investment choices your 401(k) plan offers and modify those allocation percentages. You can go to a very safe, low return investment like a money market fund. Or you can decide not to contribute any more (probably not a wise decision).

Watch this 4/19/09
60 Minutes episode that outlines some of the little known problems with the 401(k) industry (fees and mediocre money managers) and how it effects 401(k) plan participants.

But keep in mind, there may be something you can do. If you're not happy with your employer's 401(k) plan, give me a call and let's see if there is anything that can be done to change your situation. (The video starts after a short commercial)
